We have all had those defining moments when we noticed a film personality on the silver screen wearing a fantastic leather jacket. Or maybe you fell in love with James Dean’s iconic red windbreaker. You thought it looked so great and you knew someday you would have one just like it. This is a forum to discuss those jackets.

Many of us started our infatuation with television jackets, rather than film jackets. There have been a few great ones too. Fonzie's jacket became so famous that it is a featured exhibit in the Smithsonian Institution. Now that is cool!

There is arguably nothing cooler-looking than a nice comfortable, beat up-looking leather jacket. It becomes part of who you are more than any other item in your wardrobe. But there are those of us who want to accelerate that process rather than wear a brand-new pristine jacket. This is where we discuss the techniques for making new jackets look like old jackets.

If you looking to SELL a film jacket, this is the place... This forum is for selling pre-existing jackets that you already own. Whether it is an original screen-worn jacket or a replica of a jacket from a movie or television, you can put it up for sale here. Other items are allowed at the moment, but please keep in mind this is a film jacket web forum and sales should be predominantly film jackets. If you are looking to BUY a film jacket, why not post your request here? You may get a great bargain without the stress of bidding on an auction. This section IS NOT for vendors to sell their products, NOR is it a place for members to try and sell multiple copies of a jacket, or to gauge interest for a jacket brand or style. If you do not have the jacket in your possession, please DO NOT post it here.
