Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Postby Neville » Tue May 13, 2008 9:19 am

I was just watching this the other day, and Brad Pitt's wearing a pretty cool black leather jacket that's fairly distressed toward the beginning of the movie. He only wears it once, I believe - when they're at the carnival-type of thing on a date. Anyone know anything about this jacket? I have the DVD at home and can probably do a few screen grabs later.

I'm glad you mentioned that. The clothes on Pitt are great in this film.

I am suprised I missed Pitt wearing this one in this particular way.

This is pretty much how I wear all my leather jackets-- with a hoodie underneath. It's the perfect combo of protection and warmth.

This jacket looks like its got a full belt attachment on the back based on the pics. I'll need to root around for this DVD in my cubby.
Let's make something go BOOM!

I think it looks great with a hoodie. This is the only scene the jacket it in.

Costume designers were doing the leather jacket + hoodie thing a lot around 2006 (The Bourne Supremacy did it too, as did a number of others). It was a bit of a fad, though not a terrible one. It's faded rather quickly.

And Four Brothers (2005). (And War of the Worlds, of course! :D )

What a lovely looking, weathered jacket! Superb stuff!

Love this jacket. Love this movie as well. It sparked the beginning of the greatest Hollywood romance of all time. :D

I'd be interested to know what brand this jacket is.
